About
So does a sandbox constitute as a 3D wiki? Multiple people may build where ever they like. Although the content does not persist over time and people usually don't collaborate on the same projects. I've heard of second life referred to as a 3D wiki in different ways. The persistance and collaboration is possible and usually happens on private estates rather than public sandboxes. Any object that one person makes, by default can not be editable by others. The limitation of prims also becomes a problem. In order to have a true 3D wiki, we may need an island that persists over time with no cleanup, and the ability to edit everyones objects. Like that would ever happen. I can see problems there.
